Stepan Hi, Stepan. Unfortunately, the macOS version of Lookupper, unlike the Windows version, doesn’t have the Anki export feature yet. So there’s currently no way to export words as an Anki deck on macOS—only as a list of words.

Could macos export the material or something and add it in windows, and then export words in windows as anki cards? Or could it use wine or kind of software to run windows version of it in mac os? So I just bought a macbook air and wish lookupper could somehow work.

leuas Currently, there is no way to achieve the same functionality in Lookupper for macOS as is available in the Windows version. Once I complete the Windows update, I plan to enhance the macOS version with the best features from the Windows version.

So does it also could not use Emulators(e.g wine) to transform the windows version of lookupper to use it in the mac os? If couldn't, is it because it need to run with Microsoft shop? Is it lierally no way or achieving this very hard? And when would you complete the Windows update if it's as expect? Oh I checked the future plan of windows, that's a lot, so maybe mac os need to wait to next yeat, does it?

leuas There’s no way to use Lookupper for Windows on macOS. This is because Lookupper for Windows relies on Windows-specific features like Windows OCR and APIs.

Unfortunately, I can’t promise that a Windows update for Lookupper will be released soon. It’s a significant update that will enhance all aspects of the app. While I work on it, I’ll be postponing updates for Lookupper on Mac for the time being.

If I buy one-time payment, which the mac version of lookupper, when its payment adjust ( like being more expensive when new feature is added), would my one-time payment become yearly or monthly and need to buy the same price of one-time payment as windows so that could have same experence as before?

leuas A one-time purchase will be valid forever. Once you buy Lookupper Pro, it’s yours for life, including any new features added in future updates. However, the purchase applies to a single platform. If you want to use Lookupper Pro on macOS and Windows, you’ll need to purchase them separately.

Hi, the dictionary page doesn’t display while I’m in the game. It only shows up when I switch out of the game, like when I return to the desktop. This issue didn’t exist at first but appeared later, and I’m not sure what I might have done to cause it. (MacOs)

Yiyi Hi, could you please specify which games you can confirm this issue occurs in? This will help me reproduce the problem.

Additionally, as a quick fix, try setting the game mode to borderless window and see if that resolves the issue.

creator Hi, thanks. It is Disco Elysium and I didn't find any way to set the game to windowed mode on MacOS

Yiyi I checked that Disco Elysium doesn’t have an explicit borderless window or windowed mode setting. However, Lookupper should still work in the game. Could you please try completely exiting Lookupper and then running it again after opening Disco Elysium? This might help resolve the conflict between Lookupper and Disco Elysium over which window should be displayed on top.
