I found that when I try to export the words, the file that export didn't include the words that I had in saved words page. I also try to restart the software, but it didn't work.

none of those words are the same one in the Lookupper's saving words page.

by the way, this is in the virtual machine, and I also installed Mac version's Lookupper in Mac side.

leuas Hi, Leuas. The issue with missing words (as indicated by the “218 notes already present in your collection” message) means that some words were not added to your collection because their IDs already exist. This can happen if you import the Lookupper collection into an already existing non-Lookupper collection. In this case, the IDs of the existing words in your collection will conflict with the IDs of the words from Lookupper collection, causing Anki to skip these entries.

I recommend importing the Lookupper collection into a separate collection.

separate collection mean another account? And what is a non-lookupper collection? Because this Anki collection is as same as the one in my windows laptop, which means it's include all the words that I used Lookupper to look up before.

Okay, I see, but could I combine two profile into one so that two collection becomes one?

leuas Probably, yes. But I haven’t tested it this way, so there could be issues with note IDs conflicts, which might prevent new words from being imported. It’s possible that Anki has a mechanism to handle such conflicts and still add new cards even if the IDs match, but I haven’t tested this.

thank you for your app. i'm a user in china, i want to use offline dictionary because of internet block in china.(In addition, I must use a global proxy VPN to use the Internet function)
i download dictionary but it can't load anything, just like the picture, neither the cambrige nor oxford.
what can i do? I would be very grateful if you could help me.

creator ummm, no, Anki didn't fix that, if I export the card from another profile and then import it in profile I want, their IDs still conflict

do you have any way to solve that?

leuas Could you please record a video showing your user flow, starting from exporting from Lookupper and ending with importing into the desired Anki collection? This will help me reproduce your flow and test some ideas.

wang2 Hi, Wang2. I’ve encountered the “dictionary not found” issue reported by other users as well. While it’s rare, I haven’t been able to reproduce it on my own computers. To resolve this, I’ll need your help. Could you please contact me at creator@lookupper.com so we can investigate it further?

leuas Could you please also make a screenshot of all your Anki collections?

creator is this kind of screenshot?

do I need to unfold all the deck?

leuas Could you try completely removing the Lookupper collection and then reimporting it?

creator you mean remove it from this device and import the words I want, and then sync with Anki web to bring the collection ,that I remove, back?

                      okay,
okay, it do work, I mean the card would import into my deck, but if I reimport the previous Lookupper's deck, some cards would be replaced.

do you have any idea of how to fix that?

So you are just on holiday, right?

                        creator

leuas Sorry, I missed the notification for your last message.
From your recent posts, I’m having trouble understanding your expected outcome in Anki (how the collections should look) and what you’ve actually received. Could you clarify?

creator so maybe defining something first would be clear. Deck A: previous deck with 5000+ cards; Deck B: the deck I want to import in in another device and with 150 roughly words.

Expected outcome: Whichever I import Deck A into Deck B or Deck B into Deck A, the cards IDs would not conflict, which mean two deck in one profile.

The last post, I try to delete the Deck A first and import the Deck B, and import Deck A again. First picture shows that Deck B import successfully. And second one shows that the some cards in the Deck A were replaced by Deck B's cards. I don't know which cards actually, but when I try reproduce this, the cards need to be reviewed became less a little bit(397 to 384), so I assume that this action do replaced some cards.
First picture here is the original Deck A(daily review) and second picture is the deck A after I deleted it, imported Deck B and re-import it.

And if I replace the resources file and words.db file from previous computer to this virtual machine, whether it could fix the ID conflicts?

                              leuas
Could you please share you Deck A and Deck B so I can reproduce the issue?
