Hi there! I wonder if the software exports(as anki pack) whole saved words , like today I save 100 words, tomorrow I save another 50 words, then how much words will it export tomorrow? 150?

If it's 150, it means the repository will expand without an limitition, then after 1year, the package the software exports will be extreamly huge, which is not a wise(no offense) option

Best wishes

I am here with the same doubt. I was wondering would it better to auto-delete the words once they are exported to Anki?

I chose not to automatically delete words because it would be unexpected behavior for the export feature. Instead, users have the option to delete all words manually if they no longer need them. So after you export, it’s easy to delete words—just select all of them with Ctrl + A and press the Delete Selected button.

This is the best option I see after careful consideration, but I’m open to more suggestions.

Edit: The Delete Selected button is not yet available in Lookupper and will be introduced in the next version. However, you can still delete words in a similar way: click on the list, press Ctrl + A to select all, and then press Delete or Backspace to remove them.

creator I would suggest a function to divide words saved in different sections based on dates

plus a tag to show if this word had been exported before

so when I want to export words, I can just select them according to dates and tags.

I reckon that it's not good to delete words in the software, because it's also somehow meaningful to check how much I have accumulated

    Thanks

Could you describe how you use the exported words? That way, I can develop an ideal solution for you.

Generally, I think a filter is really necessary.
every word saved should be taged by date, state(if exported before),etc.
then through the filter, I can go through my repository to check how many words I recorded today, how many words I haven't exported yet.
(maybe it's a bit like SQL, a word should be the smallest unit)

then when I want to export words, I can export what I saved today as a whole unit(filter ----select date :Nov.14th)

      or filter----select "unexported yet"

I don't know if I express myself well due to limited english proficiency, sorry about it bro

Your English is fine, don’t worry. I was asking how you’re currently using the words you’ve exported. Sorry if I wasn’t clear in my last message.

oh, I see. Usually I export words from anki to Remnote to do space repetition(Remnote have flashcard function as good as anki, maybe better when it comes to organized note-taking).

Hi friend, I found that Remnote can't recogize words alread exist when it comes to importing ankipackage into Rem, like today I import 100 words into RN, the next day I learn 10 more words and export all words from lookupper to Remnote, then Remnote will have 210 words, he 200-word is composed of two identical 100-word sections, repeated to form the entire piece.

so could you please add a function that export unexported words only? I don't really want to delete my repository evertime I export words from lookupper

        7 days later

@"READTOLIVE"#p183I’ve added fixes for Remnote to the TODO list and plan to include them in future versions of Lookupper. Thank you for your feedback.
