English - English: Urban Dictionary
For me, just searching slang words is enough
Because I'm a frequent comic book reader, but the English translation has too much slang, and I'm not even a native English speaker. And I don't want to tab out so much just to find the meaning.

English - Bahasa Melayu (Malay), Standard Dictionary (Kamus Dewan Edisi 4)

Extra Details:
Main thing is I would like the dictionary to be DBP/Dewan Bahasa Pustaka's dictionary, if it's available! Otherwise, any common Malay dictionary would do.

Why:
I work as a game localisation linguist for a large game company to localise between English and Malay, and I want to see how machine translation/AI would approach translating words. I also just love CRPGs!

Возможно ли сделать интеграцию с Викисловарем в качестве толкового словаря? В нем статей больше где-то в 10 раз чем в самом большом русском от Ефремовой (1.4 млн и 120тыс соотвественно).

I listened to your dictionary suggestions, and I have a good solution.

Because I've received a lot of requests recently and don't have much time to manually test and select dictionaries, I decided to implement a feature in Lookupper so you can upload dictionaries you like. It will be compatible with GoldenDict formats (.mdx, .bgl, .dsl, and StarDict).

I plan to release this feature in one of the big updates, along with documentation explaining where you can download these dictionaries and how to upload them. This way, you can try any dictionary you like and find the one that suits you.

I will keep you updated and make a new post in this topic when the feature is ready.

This topic was originally created to gather your requests to add new offline dictionaries to Lookupper.

After a while it became clear that requests were piling up too fast, and since I've been receiving a lot of them recently and don't have much time to manually test and select dictionaries, I decided to implement a feature in Lookupper so you can upload dictionaries you like. It's compatible with GoldenDict formats: StarDict, ABBYY Lingvo (.dsl), MDict (.mdx), Babylon (.bgl), Aard 2 (.slob), and ZIM.

There are many dictionaries available online. Search for them on Google.

Open the dictionary archive in Lookupper. Click Add dictionary and then Browse local file.
This feature requires Lookupper version 1.8.6 or higher.

If you face any unsupported formats or errors, just create a new forum topic describing the issue.
