Hi,
Thanks for letting me know — this is the first time I’ve seen this issue. Let’s try to figure it out together.
From what I can tell, it looks like you saw the form in the screenshot after pressing the “Buy” button in Lookupper for Windows and signing into your Microsoft account. I’m guessing you’re not based in China and didn’t create or use your Microsoft account in China.
Given that, I’m really surprised you’re seeing this.
First, I’d suggest checking the country/region settings for both your Microsoft account and Windows system. Please make sure China isn’t selected in either of them.
Also, this what I found on Microsoft forum:
- Confirm whether you have inserted a Chinese SM card into your phone:
Since mainland China requires the insertion of an SM card to ensure the normal use of your phone, you can try to confirm whether you have inserted the appropriate card, and if so, you can try to remove the SM card and then re-login to your Microsoft account to confirm your display information.
- Confirm the regional settings of your account:
You can login to Microsoft Dashboard: Microsoft account | Sign in now or Create your account - Microsoft Under “Your Information”, you can check your country and region as well as determine your language display.
If it says China, you can try to change your region by clicking on the country or region information. After you change it, you will need to log out of your Microsoft account in other programs on your phone and log back in to see if the change is successful.
In Microsoft Edge, you can try to clear the cache information by clicking Settings - Personal Information - Clear Cache - “clear now”, and then log in again to see if the problem can be alleviated.
Also, you can try to reset your browser information, and after resetting it, log in to the corresponding Microsoft website and your account again to see if the region error is still displayed.

Clearing your browser information will also help us to ensure that your browser does not have any cookies from mainland China websites, so that no such information is detected.
I’ll think about this more and escalate it to Microsoft Store support if needed.
Thanks for helping track this down.
